I really like Lexi Mire. A lot of people do, and I don’t blame them.

Except I’m going to try to tell you why, or something. (I am also going to try to not sound obsessed or crazy, which will probably happen anyways.) I’ve loved Lexi’s work for a long time. It was nice in that this-is-the-best-part-of-my-day nice. Nice is a bad word. It spoke to me in a visually appealing way, and often it felt honest and real. She wasn’t trying to be incredible (though her photographs were.) It was a mix of real life and an enhanced visual world. And then there were things like this. Pictures of herself for fun, or a trip with her friends, or a trip to China town. Personal challenges like the Oath series.
And then I found out that all the nice-ness and honesty I found in her pictures are so genuine. If you’ve had any conversation with Lexi you’d know it right away.

I don’t have a good ending sentence for this. But yeah. Lexi is great, in so many ways.
