On a serious note, someone I don’t know very well just posted something about having been cheated on on facebook. As private as relationships are intended to be and how facebook maybe isn’t the best place to address such a happening, my heart really does goes out to anyone who’s ever been cheated on. If someone has the audacity to do such a childish, cruel thing to another person, they clearly aren’t mature enough for any sort of adult intimacy in the first place. If you have lost interest in the person you are in an intimate relationship with, you end things instead of finding a displacement for the desires you seek, nonetheless hiding your wrong doings from your once ‘significant’ other. The human race sometimes makes me sick with how easily we can hurt one another and feel nothing in return. I’m sorry for the angry post but, honestly where is the maturity.
